CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP: The 2021 Toyota Tour Cup Championship concluded today at Coral Mountain Country Club. After an exciting Round One, there was a lot to look forward to going into today’s Second Round. Even with the high expectations, the players delivered and finished out the championship strong.
For the Boys Division, 18 junior golfers went under-par, but Hunter Swanson was able to hold on to his Round One lead by shooting a 64,72 (-8). Hunter shot even par today after an impressive (-8) in Round One to claim the 2021 Toyota Tour Cup Championship. The two players who tied for second were Jack Cantlay and Joshua Koo who shot (-6) through two rounds.
For the Girls Division, ten players went under-par with Jasmine Koo leading the way with a 68,63 (-13). After an impressive (-4) in Round One, Jasmine outdid herself and posted a 63 (-9) for Round 2. Tied for second place, we had Anna Davis and Jude Lee who came in at (-6) for the weekend.
