JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT TOUR:
The JDT series is a way for juniors to gain competitive golf experience in a more relaxed and fun environment. It is a way for junior golfers to gain knowledge of the rules, etiquette and competitive nature of tournament golf. First and foremost, we want the juniors to have fun on the golf course. The JDT series is not meant to be extremely competitive, but rather meant to give players the experience they need to be comfortable playing competitive golf.
PLAYERS TOUR:
The Players Tour is the flagship level of our program. It is designed to serve juniors of a wide range of playing ability, from juniors that have advanced through the Junior Development Tour, to those looking to earn an invite into the Toyota Tour Cup Series. Players will strive to improve their game while gaining competitive experience. Playing opportunities are available throughout Southern California at a variety of courses. Juniors compete within their age divisions and earn points for the Player of the Year standings. Members have the opportunity to establish an official Handicap Index through the SCGA as a benefit of membership.
The Players Tour offers almost 200 opportunities to play competitive golf in a fun atmosphere. Playing competitive golf regularly allows junior golfers to sharpen skills in all facets of the game. Our Professional Staff can assist and guide you with any questions you may have.
TOYOTA TOUR CUP:
The Toyota Tour Cup Series features the best Junior Golfers in Southern California hosted by some of the premiere facilities in the area. Membership for the Toyota Tour Cup is invitation only, which can be attained by Qualifying School, Players Tour Series Points or local qualifiers which is broken down in detail below. In addition, the top players from the following junior golf organizations will be individually invited: Santa Barbara, San Diego, Ventura County, North County, and Valley Junior Golf. All Toyota Tour Cup events are nationally ranked by Junior Golf Scoreboard, as well as recognized by AJGA Performance Based Entry stars. Five of the events will be ranked by GolfWeek, including the Toyota Tour Cup Championship. The Boys Division (12-18) will compete from the Championship tees (6,600-7,100+ yards) and the Girls Division (12-18) will play from the middle tees (5,700-6,200+ yards).
