Making the Game Better for All Ages

The Southern California PGA Junior Tour’s mission is to create learning and playing opportunities for individuals of all ages and skill levels throughout Southern California. We aim to utilize golf as a vehicle to instill values such as integrity, honor, and patience. The SCPGA Junior Tour strives to foster and develop these values that will positively impact our member’s character on and off the golf course.

Established in 1948, the Southern California PGA now hosts one of the largest and most respected junior golf programs in the country. The SCPGA Junior Tour is a three-tiered program featuring the Toyota Tour Cup, the Players Tour and the Junior Development Tour. Together, these three tours administer over 290 tournaments annually for kids of all ages and skill levels. These events provide playing opportunities throughout Southern California, many of which are hosted by PGA facilities. The Junior Tour boasts countless alumni including Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, Lizette Salas, Charlie Wi, Brendan Steele, Danielle Kang, Jennifer Johnson, John Cook, Patrick Cantlay and many more.

Which Level Is Right For You?

Junior Development Tour

The Junior Development Tour is a way for juniors to gain competitive golf experience in a more relaxed and fun environment. It is a way for junior golfers to gain knowledge of the rules, etiquette and competitive nature of tournament golf.

The Players Tour

The Players Tour is the flagship level of our program. It is designed to serve juniors of a wide range of playing ability, from juniors that have advanced through the Junior Development Tour, to those looking to earn an invite into the Toyota Tour Cup Series.

Toyota Tour Cup

The Toyota Tour Cup Series features the best Junior Golfers in Southern California hosted by some of the premiere facilities in the area.

Isabella Wu from Palos Verdes Estates and Brady McHenry of Ventura were crowned champions this week at the Toyota Tour Cup Patrick Cantlay Series Finale at Virginia Country Club in Long Beach, California. This invitational hosted the top 24 boys and 24 girls from Southern California. Thank you very... much to Patrick Cantlay, his foundation, and his partners for all their support!

Isabella Wu completed a 4 shot comeback to force a playoff with a final round score of 70 to capture the victory at -1! Kylee Choi just fell short in the playoff but finished solo 2nd with rounds of 67-74. Nikki Oh and Juliet Oh both tied for 3rd place at +1 for the tournament. Congratulations to all the girls on an awesome tournament this week!

Brady McHenry came out firing in the first round with a score of 64 and emerged victorious in a playoff at -3! 2022 Cantlay Series Finale champion Adam Anderson forced a playoff by making an eagle putt on the final hole to finish runner up with rounds of 67-70. Hill Wang and Shawn Nawata both fired rounds of 69-71 to finish 3rd in the tournament at even par. Congratulations to all the boys on their tremendous play this week!

What a fantastic weekend as we wrapped up the Toyota Tour Cup 2024 season with the Toyota Tour Championship hosted by Desert Falls Country Club.

Yixuan Chen ...(70-69) came back from a 2-shot deficit to capture her first victory on the Toyota Tour Cup at -5 which was highlighted with 5 straight birdies in the first round! Mia Clausen fired rounds of 68-74 to capture solo 2nd place to finish at -2 for the tournament. There was a three way tie for third place at -1 between Clairey Lin (75-68), Isabella Wu (73-70), and Hailey Kim (71-72). Congratulations to all the girls on an awesome tournament!
Logan Park showcased amazing consistency this weekend playing the last 30 holes without a bogey shooting 68-68 (-6 total) en route to capture his fourth Toyota Tour Cup Victory! Max Emberson finished in second place -4 (69-69). Brady McHenry also finished in second place at -4 (67-71). Congratulations to all the boys on their outstanding play this weekend!
In addition to crowning our champions at this event we also awarded our 2024 Toyota Tour Cup Players of the Year. We want to congratulate the Girls TTC Player of the Year Isabella Wu and Boys TTC Player of the Year Max Emberson for their stellar performances throughout the 2024 season!

The Players Tour wrapped up its 2024 Fall Season this past weekend @missionhillsnorth in Rancho Mirage, CA. This event consists of the top point earners of the Fall Season, with the Overall Champion and Runner-Up in each division earning a Toyota Tour Cup Exemption.

Jansen Baek defended ...his first round lead to take home first place honors in both the Boys Overall and Boys 12-14 divisions. Baek fired rounds of 68, 81 (-5 total) to capture his first multi-day win on the Players Tour.

Nicholas Davis completed a second round comeback to take home first place honors in the Boys 15-18 division. After a one hole play-off, Davis successfully extended his Toyota Tour Exemption by taking second place in the Boys Overall Division.

After some late round drama, Layla Phillips took home first place honors in both the Girls 12-14 and Girls Overall divisions through a 4 hole playoff. Phillips showed great consistency with rounds of 68, 70 (-6 total), earning her a Toyota Tour Cup exemption. Rose Callewaert took second place honors in both divisions to also earn a Toyota Tour Cup Exemption.

Anna Gao fired rounds of 72 and 72 (-1 total) to take first place in the Girls 15-18 division. Gao successfully defended her lead after the first round to win her division by three strokes.

Congratulations to all our medalists and new Toyota Tour Cup members!

The Toyota Tour Cup season continued its Fall season in the city of Palm Springs with the Toyota Tour Cup Extended Field @ Tahquitz Creek!

Thank you to Assistant General Manager Alex Bidelman and Tournament Coordinator Aramis Realegeno, and all of the wonderful staff at Tahquitz Creek ...Golf Resort for hosting us!

Ally Kim fired back to back rounds of 66 (-6 total) en route to capture back to back Toyota Tour Cup Extended Field Victories. Rina Kawasaki (66-68) finished at -10 for solo 2nd place which was highlighted by a hole out eagle on Hole #12. Koa Seymour and Fay Jia tied for 3rd place at -6 for the tournament. Great Playing Girls!

Grant Leary shot the low round of the tournament with a score of 64 in the final round to capture his first Toyota Tour Cup Victory! Maddox Pineda finished in solo second at -8 with scores of 66-68. Jayden Jun shot consistent rounds 68-68 to capture 3rd place at -6. Congratulations to all the boys on their great play!

The Toyota Tour Cup season continued its Fall season in the city of Ventura with the Toyota Tour Cup @ Olivas Links!

Thank you to Head Golf Professional Christopher Harvey, PGA, and Director of Sales & Marketing Anna Atwell, and all of the wonderful staff at Olivas Links Golf Course ...for hosting us!

Addison Claire Lee (70-67) and Amber Lee both finished at -7 for the tournament and battled it out in a playoff. Addison Claire Lee highlighted four straight birdies in her final round and came out victorious on the first playoff hole to capture her very first TTC Victory! Amber Lee (70-67) fell short in the playoff but finished solo 2nd respectively. Kuree Little shot a two day total -5 (71-68) to finish 3rd place for the tournament. Great Playing Girls!

Brandon Anderson fired a bogey free 64 in his final round and only had one bogey for the weekend to capture his very first Toyota Tour Cup Victory at -15! Shawn Nawata shot stellar rounds of (66-65) to end up at -13 and finish solo second. Tucker Sweeney went 65-68 to capture 3rd place at -11. Congratulations to all the boys on their great play!

Another great tournament in the books as River Ridge Golf Course hosted the Toyota Tour Cup this past weekend.

After a stellar first day, Ally Kim captured her 1st ...career Toyota Tour Cup victory with a wire to wire victory at -8 (66-70)! There was a four way tie for second place at -3 between Inseoul Jiamanukoonkit (72-69), Rui (Sunny) Wang (71-70), Jio Yoo (68-73), and Zoey Kim (63-72). Congratulations to all the girls on an awesome tournament!

After 36 holes, Graham Christopher (73-66) and Luke Ringkamp (73-66) found themselves in a playoff at -5 for the tournament. Graham Christopher captured his 1st career Toyota Tour Cup win on the initial playoff hole with a chip-in eagle! There was a four way tie for third place at -4 between Maddox Pineda (74-66), Grant Leary (72-68), Ryder Rasmussen (72-66), and Yunwei (Charlie) Qiu (70-70). Congratulations to all the boys on an awesome tournament!

Vivi Yen (69-73) made 7 birdies in her ...first round which catapulted to her 3rd Toyota Tour Cup Victory at -3! Anna Song shot rounds of 73-70 to finish solo second place at -1. There was a four way tie for third place at +1 between Bridget Chantharath, Fay Jia, Koa Seymour, and Rina Kawasaki. Great Playing Girls!

Romeo Juarez (71-66) fired a bogey free 66 in his final round to capture his very first Toyota Tour Cup Victory! Shawn Nawata shot back to back 69’s to finish solo second at -6. Sammy Bermant fired a 67 to climb up the leaderboard and finish at -4 for 3rd place. Congratulations to all the boys on their great play!
