Our Mission

Making the Game Better for All Ages

The Southern California PGA Junior Tour’s mission is to create learning and playing opportunities for individuals of all ages and skill levels throughout Southern California. We aim to utilize golf as a vehicle to instill values such as integrity, honor, and patience. The SCPGA Junior Tour strives to foster and develop these values that will positively impact our member’s character on and off the golf course.

Established in 1948, the Southern California PGA now hosts one of the largest and most respected junior golf programs in the country. The SCPGA Junior Tour is a three-tiered program featuring the Toyota Tour Cup, the Players Tour and the Junior Development Tour. Together, these three tours administer over 290 tournaments annually for kids of all ages and skill levels. These events provide playing opportunities throughout Southern California, many of which are hosted by PGA facilities. The Junior Tour boasts countless alumni including Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, Lizette Salas, Charlie Wi, Brendan Steele, Danielle Kang, Jennifer Johnson, John Cook, Patrick Cantlay and many more.

Which Level Is Right For You?

Junior Development Tour

The Junior Development Tour is a way for juniors to gain competitive golf experience in a more relaxed and fun environment. It is a way for junior golfers to gain knowledge of the rules, etiquette and competitive nature of tournament golf.

The Players Tour

The Players Tour is the flagship level of our program. It is designed to serve juniors of a wide range of playing ability, from juniors that have advanced through the Junior Development Tour, to those looking to earn an invite into the Toyota Tour Cup Series.

Toyota Tour Cup

The Toyota Tour Cup Series features the best Junior Golfers in Southern California hosted by some of the premiere facilities in the area.

Another great tournament in the books as River Ridge Golf Course hosted the Toyota Tour Cup this past weekend.

After a stellar first day, Ally Kim captured her 1st ...career Toyota Tour Cup victory with a wire to wire victory at -8 (66-70)! There was a four way tie for second place at -3 between Inseoul Jiamanukoonkit (72-69), Rui (Sunny) Wang (71-70), Jio Yoo (68-73), and Zoey Kim (63-72). Congratulations to all the girls on an awesome tournament!

After 36 holes, Graham Christopher (73-66) and Luke Ringkamp (73-66) found themselves in a playoff at -5 for the tournament. Graham Christopher captured his 1st career Toyota Tour Cup win on the initial playoff hole with a chip-in eagle! There was a four way tie for third place at -4 between Maddox Pineda (74-66), Grant Leary (72-68), Ryder Rasmussen (72-66), and Yunwei (Charlie) Qiu (70-70). Congratulations to all the boys on an awesome tournament!

The Toyota Tour Cup season continued its Fall season in the city of Beaumont with the Toyota Tour Cup @ Morongo Golf Club!

Thank you to Tournament Director Curtis Salley and all of the wonderful staff at Morongo Golf Club for hosting us!

Vivi Yen (69-73) made 7 birdies in her ...first round which catapulted to her 3rd Toyota Tour Cup Victory at -3! Anna Song shot rounds of 73-70 to finish solo second place at -1. There was a four way tie for third place at +1 between Bridget Chantharath, Fay Jia, Koa Seymour, and Rina Kawasaki. Great Playing Girls!

Romeo Juarez (71-66) fired a bogey free 66 in his final round to capture his very first Toyota Tour Cup Victory! Shawn Nawata shot back to back 69’s to finish solo second at -6. Sammy Bermant fired a 67 to climb up the leaderboard and finish at -4 for 3rd place. Congratulations to all the boys on their great play!

The Players Tour traveled north to Oxnard to complete its second two-day event of the fall season. Windy conditions proved to be a challenge during both rounds.

Aubrey Lee overcame a two-stroke deficit to win her first two-day event on The Players Tour (Girls Overall Division). Lee’s ...score included a 69 in the final round to win by five strokes.

Olivia Hong, Jinjutha Maneerat, and Merida Ding all placed second in the Girls Overall division with two-day totals of 146 (+2).

In the Boys Overall division, Austin Dennis also overcame a one stroke deficit to take home his second two day win on The Players Tour. Austin showed great consistency with rounds of 67, 69 (-8 total).

Tyler Sonnenberg took second place with a two-day total of 138 (-6), with Sebastian Alonzo following with a total of 139 (-5).

What a special weekend at the TTC Patrick Cantlay Series @ Mission Hills Country Club!

Hana McGarry (71-67), Isabella Wu (67-71), and Fay Jia (68-70) all finished at -6 for the tournament and battled it out in a playoff. Hana McGarry drained a 12 ft birdie putt on the first playoff hole ...to capture her very first Toyota Tour Cup Victory in five starts at 13 years old! Isabella Wu and Fay Jia just fell short in the playoff but finished tied for 2nd! Congratulations to all the girls on their tremendous play!

Adam Anderson fired a historical achievement in Toyota Tour Cup history by shooting a 61 in the first round, tying Matthew Wolff’s 61 at River Course at the Alisal in 2014! He concluded the tournament with a final round 69 to capture his 4th Toyota Tour Cup Victory, and third Patrick Cantlay Invitational win! Austin Woods (66-67) and Caleb Kim (66-67) tied for 2nd place to finish at -7 for the tournament. Congratulations to all of the boys on their stellar play!

The Players Tour kicked off its Fall 2024 season this past weekend at Palm Desert Resort Country Club.

Benjamin Shin (Boys Overall) showed resilience and successfully defended his first-round lead, capturing his second 2-Day win on The Players Tour. Shin fired rounds of 68, 74 (-2) to win... by one stroke. Cameron Wei and Alvin Yang followed with two-day totals of 143 (-1 total).

Sarah Lee (Girls Overall) also held off her competitors and captured her second 2-Day win on The Players Tour with rounds of 70, 72 (-2) to win by two strokes. Sophia Nguyen took second with a two-day total of 144, followed by Olivia Hong and Jennifer Yang (145).

Congratulations to all our medalists!

What a historic weekend to kick off the Fall season as we wrapped up the inaugural Toyota Tour Cup Four-Ball Championship @ Twin Oaks!

Overall this weekend the Boys Division carded 400 birdies and 6 eagles and had an average score of 5 under par! The Girls Division had 206 birdies and 5 ...eagles and also averaged 5 under par! Great playing to all of the teams!

Thank you to Tournament Sales Director Scott Butler, Tournament Coordinator Herb Butler, and all of the wonderful staff at Twin Oaks Golf Course for hosting us!

Amber Lee and Apple (Jingyi) Cui fired low rounds of 63-64 to shoot a two day total of -17. Angelina Tao and Emily Song took home second place with scores of 65-63 to finish at -16. Rina Kawasaki and Clairey Lin took third place with scores of 65-64 to finish -15 for the tournament. Congratulations to all the girls on their great play!

Samson Li and Tyler Yao completed a historical achievement in Toyota Tour Cup history by carding a 58 in the first round! Nicholas Trani and Lance Nguyen (62-63) came back from a four stroke deficit to force a playoff. However, Samson Li and Tyler Yao birdied one more hole during the playoff on top of their record 13 birdies in the first round (19 total birdies) to capture the Boys Four-Ball Championship. Congratulations to all the boys on their great play!
