Ian Jin And Ryan Bullock’s Solid Play Propel Them To Victory
The race for the Players Tour 2-Day Spring Series continues to be a challenging competition with tough weather and course conditions. A total of 60 boys and 36 girls competed in this 2-Day event at Oak Valley this weekend. With wet course conditions, the overall scoring average after round one was 80.41 and after round two was 79.35. Round one was lead by Ian Jin (69) and Jude Lee (74). Going into the final round, Jin had a one stroke lead over the boy’s field and made the turn at plus one. As a result, Jin maintained his lead posting a solid final round (73) to finish the tournament at -2 with a two-shot win. As for the girls, Lee continued to lead the tournament posting a 38 on the front nine for the girl’s division. In the end, Ryan Bullock catapulted herself up the board on her final round (71) to move from tied for fourth to first in the girl’s division. Congratulations to our champions, Ian Jin and Ryan Bullock! Also congratulations to Daniel Heo, Francis Bautista, and Jason Zhang who all tied for second in the boy’s division and Wa Yeung Tong who finished 2nd and Jude Lee who finished 3rd in the girl’s division.
The top 3 boys and girls with the most cumulative points in the Players Tour 2-Day Spring Series will earn their Toyota Tour Cup exemption. The next Players Tour 2-Day Spring Series Tournament will be at Morongo Canyon Golf Course on March 21st & 22nd. Stay tuned!
