Making the Game Better for All Ages
The Southern California PGA Junior Tour’s mission is to create learning and playing opportunities for individuals of all ages and skill levels throughout Southern California. We aim to utilize golf as a vehicle to instill values such as integrity, honor, and patience. The SCPGA Junior Tour strives to foster and develop these values that will positively impact our member’s character on and off the golf course.
Established in 1948, the Southern California PGA now hosts one of the largest and most respected junior golf programs in the country. The SCPGA Junior Tour is a three-tiered program featuring the Toyota Tour Cup, the Players Tour and the Junior Development Tour. Together, these three tours administer over 290 tournaments annually for kids of all ages and skill levels. These events provide playing opportunities throughout Southern California, many of which are hosted by PGA facilities. The Junior Tour boasts countless alumni including Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, Lizette Salas, Charlie Wi, Brendan Steele, Danielle Kang, Jennifer Johnson, John Cook, Patrick Cantlay and many more.
The Junior Development Tour is a way for juniors to gain competitive golf experience in a more relaxed and fun environment. It is a way for junior golfers to gain knowledge of the rules, etiquette and competitive nature of tournament golf.
The Players Tour is the flagship level of our program. It is designed to serve juniors of a wide range of playing ability, from juniors that have advanced through the Junior Development Tour, to those looking to earn an invite into the Toyota Tour Cup Series.
The Toyota Tour Cup Series features the best Junior Golfers in Southern California hosted by some of the premiere facilities in the area.
Players were put to the ultimate test at the Toyota Tour Cup at Glendora Country Club with the return of the grueling 36 holes in one day format, adding a layer of high stakes pressure and physical stamina.

In the Girls Division, Chloe Kim set the tone early with a blistering opening round. Chloe Kim came out of the gates firing, surging to the top of the leaderboard with a spectacular 7-under 65 in her first 18 holes. Chloe Kim’s stellar play held off a late charge from Alice Okuri, who put together a strong performance to finish in solo second place. Amy Weng rounded out the podium with a solid third-place finish, but the day ultimately belonged to Chloe Kim, who captured her fourth career Toyota Tour Cup victory! Congratulations to all of the girls for an amazing tournament!
Levi Reilly put together two masterful rounds under pressure, carding a 70 and 71 to finish the marathon day at three under par! His disciplined approach earned him his second Toyota Tour Cup title, narrowly edging out a contested field. Lucas Buendia and Justin Tun kept the pressure on until the final holes, both finishing tied for second place at 2-under par! Great playing Boys!

2026 Boys Junior America’s Cup in the books! Thank you to San Diego Junior Golf Association and Omni La Costa Golf Resort for hosting.
Our boys fought hard but would love to congratulate Team Arizona on their fantastic play. Brayden Jones led our team at 9-under par finishing T2. Shawn ...Nawata would follow closely at 5-under par at T5. Congratulations to Brandon, Zude, Brayden, and Shawn on their great play!

As we continue through the hottest part of the year the competition continues to heat up. The Toyota Tour Cup @ Industry Hills (Babe) proved to be a true challenge and demanded the best out of each competitor.

The Girls ended Day 1 with a 4-way tie for the lead, but Day 2 ended with Maggie Ma securing 1st place after battling through intense heat and humidity both rounds to shoot a 4-under 138 (69-69). She was able to hold off her competitors Moyu Wang and Chloe Kim who both shot 139 (69-70) and kept it very close all the way down to the final hole of competition and ultimately finishing tied for runner-up honors.
The Boys Division was anyone’s for the taking and Jansen Baek was able to hold his composure and secure the win taking 1st place with a score of 143 (73-70) fighting off our 3 runner-ups Kaden Smiley, Dev Jain and Griffin Vaughan who all came in with 144 after two hard fought rounds at Industry Hills (Babe).

The Players Tour continues its 2026 2-Day season this past week at River Ridge Golf Club in Oxnard, California.
Taylor Reser dominated to secure his second Players Tour 2-Day win. With rounds of 69-69, Taylor was the only player with consecutive under par rounds this week. Taj Davis and ...Ori Bard also displayed great rounds of golf finishing at 2-under par to share runner-up honors.
Jessica Yue would emerge victorious after a sudden death playoff to secure her first Players Tour 2-Day win! Ashley Wen would finish at even par earning runner-up honors. Caris Lee finished solo third at a total of 2-over par.

Catherine Shi secured her very first Toyota Tour Cup victory by being the only player in her division to go under par in her final round! Her stellar play allowed her to edge out Joanna Shin, Soleil Stovall, Phuong Quynh Nguyen, and Jinjutha Maneerat who all finished tied for second place. Congratulations to these girls for their stellar play!
The final round at Industry Hills built to a thrilling conclusion for the Boys Division. Just when the tournament seemed decided, Steve Yoo holed a miraculous ace on his final hole to force a three way playoff for the trophy with Thomas Little and Roman Luque. Showing serious composure, Luque closed the deal on the second extra hole, firing a pinpoint wedge shot inside two feet to set up a championship winning birdie and claim his first Toyota Tour Cup trophy.
