Our Mission

Making the Game Better for All Ages

The Southern California PGA Junior Tour’s mission is to create learning and playing opportunities for individuals of all ages and skill levels throughout Southern California. We aim to utilize golf as a vehicle to instill values such as integrity, honor, and patience. The SCPGA Junior Tour strives to foster and develop these values that will positively impact our member’s character on and off the golf course.

Established in 1948, the Southern California PGA now hosts one of the largest and most respected junior golf programs in the country. The SCPGA Junior Tour is a three-tiered program featuring the Toyota Tour Cup, the Players Tour and the Junior Development Tour. Together, these three tours administer over 290 tournaments annually for kids of all ages and skill levels. These events provide playing opportunities throughout Southern California, many of which are hosted by PGA facilities. The Junior Tour boasts countless alumni including Tiger Woods, Rickie Fowler, Lizette Salas, Charlie Wi, Brendan Steele, Danielle Kang, Jennifer Johnson, John Cook, Patrick Cantlay and many more.

Which Level Is Right For You?

Junior Development Tour

The Junior Development Tour is a way for juniors to gain competitive golf experience in a more relaxed and fun environment. It is a way for junior golfers to gain knowledge of the rules, etiquette and competitive nature of tournament golf.

The Players Tour

The Players Tour is the flagship level of our program. It is designed to serve juniors of a wide range of playing ability, from juniors that have advanced through the Junior Development Tour, to those looking to earn an invite into the Toyota Tour Cup Series.

Toyota Tour Cup

The Toyota Tour Cup Series features the best Junior Golfers in Southern California hosted by some of the premiere facilities in the area.

The 2026 Spring Season of The Players Tour concluded this past weekend at Mission Hills North in Rancho Mirage, CA. This premier event brought together the top point earners from the Spring Season, with coveted Toyota Tour Cup exemptions on the line for the top finishers—six boys and four ...girls.

Challenging conditions defined the weekend, as players battled through intense winds across both rounds. Despite the elements, the competition remained fierce, and the athletes rose to the occasion.

In the Boys Overall Division, Brendon Narahara showcased tremendous composure and determination, defending his opening-round lead to claim his first multi-day victory on The Players Tour. William Kim delivered a strong performance to finish second, while Roman Luque and Amar’e Bautista shared third place honors at Even-par.

The Girls Overall Division delivered thrilling drama, culminating in a need for a playoff. Ultimately, Kaylee Wu emerged victorious, securing her first multi-day win on the tour. Hannah Kim and Layla Phillips followed closely, completing the podium.

Congratulations to all of our medalists and the newest members of the Toyota Tour Cup!

A heartfelt thank-you goes out to Laurel Springs for generously providing golf balls to all participants and Uswing Mojing Sunglasses for providing special gifts to our overall champions. We also extend our gratitude to General Manager Dawson Hess and the entire staff at Mission Hills North for their hospitality and support throughout the weekend.

The Toyota Tour Cup Spring Season wrapped up this week at Desert Falls Country Club, where tough and windy conditions tested the entire field. Despite the course playing exceptionally tough, the competition rose to the occasion, delivering clutch performances and crowning two brand new, first time ...champions on the Toyota Tour Cup!

The event was made possible by the efforts of Head Golf Professional Jeffrey Gathmann, PGA and the Desert Falls Country Club staff, who hosted the field for the duration of the tournament.

In the Girls Division, Grace Mao (Class of 2032) and the youngest player in the entire field, showed veteran composure to secure her first ever Toyota Tour Cup victory, finishing at an impressive 2-over par for the tournament! Rounding out the top spots, Cindy (Manni) Yang and Catherine Shi battled hard to finish just two strokes back, tying for second place at 4-over par. Congratulations to these girls for their stellar play!

The Boys Division came down to an absolute clutch putt on the final hole. Elias Moncrief sank a birdie winning putt on the 18th to hold off the field and claim his very first Toyota Tour Cup title! He was chased closely by Elijah Yang, who fired a spectacular comeback low final round score of 69 to claim solo second place. Bosheng (Dylan) Zhang and Ayden Loke also put on a fantastic show, finishing tied for third at 1-over par. Congratulations to all the boys on an awesome tournament!

The 2026 Spring Season of The Players Tour concluded this past weekend at Dad Miller in Anaheim, CA. This premier event showcases The Players Tour’s youngest members as they prep for the next level in their golf journey.

In the Boys Overall Division, Junbo Feng would emerge victorious ...with a fantastic Even-par back nine. Mason Kim and Jack Peng would share runner-up honors at a total of 70.

In the Girls Overall Division Sophia Wu emerged victorious to become the Spring Champion. Camden Hu earned runner-up honors and Alina Wang followed closely, completing the podium.

We can’t wait to see everyone back on the course for the 2026 Summer Season!

We are incredibly proud to see the SCPGA Junior Tour so well-represented at the AJGA Mizuho Americas Open. Out of the 24 elite girls who qualified nationally for this prestigious event, 11 of them are SCPGA Jr Tour members or alumni!

Windy and firm conditions set the stage for an unforgettable week at the second TTC Patrick Cantlay Series Invitational of 2026 at Bear Creek Golf Club. The course played tough, but the competition rose to the occasion with clutch performances and back-to-back dramatic finishes.

The Boys ...division matched that intensity with a playoff of their own! Nathan Lee broke through to claim his first-ever Toyota Tour Cup victory, winning in a 2-hole playoff over Ben Matsuda. Ben had an outstanding showing, firing the low round of the tournament to finish solo 2nd at -1. Rounding out the leaderboard was a three-way tie for 3rd at even par between Maddox Pineda, Jayden Jun, and Kenyon Kahler, highlighting the depth of talent in the field.

The Girls division delivered a true battle, needing extra holes to decide a champion after 36 holes of play. Zoey Kim stepped up under pressure, securing her second Toyota Tour Cup victory with a clutch performance in a 2-hole playoff. Maggie (Jiayi) Ma and Ein Kim showed incredible resilience all tournament long, fighting their way into the playoff and ultimately finishing tied for 2nd at +3. Congratulations to all the girls on their tremendous play!

The battle begins! Day 1 at the demanding @bearcreek_gc. Who will rise to the top in the final round to claim the title at the Toyota Tour Cup @patrickcantlay Series!?

Just like that another edition of the SCPGA’s Players Tour 2-Day Series is in the books. A huge thank you to Head Golf Professional, Dylan Calloway and to the entire staff at Menifee Lakes Country Club for being wonderful hosts. Thank you to Nike US Camps for supporting this event!

...Congratulations to our overall Champions, Ellie Kim (-2) and Johnson Huang (-4) for taking first place in their respective divisions.

Ellie Kim would emerge victorious with a score of 142 after 2 rounds of par or better golf. A clutch birdie on the 36th hole of play would secure a 1-stroke victory for the championship! Soleil Stovall, Zihong Sun, and Lindsay Shin also finished at a wonderful total of 143 (-1) to share runner-up honors.

After shooting a very low 6-under round of 66 on Day 1 Johnson Huang was able to hold onto the lead and fight off the brutal winds going on throughout Day 2 to secure a 1-stroke victory at a total of 140. TJ Gibbons and Dré Whitfield would complete the championship at 2-under 141 earning runner-up honors.
