Player Tour Fall 2-Day Fall Series at Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort

After a brief break from the Summer Series, The Players Tour kicked off its fall season with the first 2-Day at Tahquitz Creek Golf Resort. The summer heat lingered around this past weekend proving to be quite a challenge for the entire field.
The first day saw multiple scores under par in the Boy’s Overall division. Luke Scott led the field with a round of -3 (68). Eston Kallins, Shawn Williams, Joshua Ince, and Kyle Kolodziej trailed by one with Jason Tang in solo 6th at -1. The Girl’s Overall division also saw its leaders at under par. Alison Soewito led her field at -3 (71) with Rina Kawasaki trailing by one (72) and Yerim Yi trailing by two (73).
On the second day, drier conditions and hotter temperatures led to a shift in the leaderboard. In the Boy’s Overall Division, Joshua Ince and Luke Scott were able fire rounds of -1 to secure a 2nd and 3rd place finish. Kyle Kolodziej showcased some consistency firing another sub 70 round (68) to secure the 1st place finish.
In the Girl’s Overall Division, Yerim Yi and Allison Soewito both had solid outings the second time around the course. However, Rina Kawasaki was able to come from behind and win her division by one shot. Rina had a two day total of -4.
