SAN MARCOS, CA – After a cold and rainy start to the year, the sun was finally out and the skies were clear for this weekend’s Toyota Tour Cup at Twin Oaks. After Saturday’s round, seven boys were at even par or better and were in the hunt for the champion title. Leading the pack, Conner Williams shot a stellar 3-under 68 on the par 71-course. Right behind him were Dylan Oyama (-2), Joshua Koo (-1), Justin Biwer (-1), Isaac Rodea (-1), and Jackson Moss (-1). For the girls, Crista Izuzquiza managed an even par 72 with Brooke Ryback and Anna Davis tailing her at +1 for the day. Moving up from T20 from day one, Jin Nakao shot a 6-under 65 to finish tied for first with Dylan Oyama at 3-under for the weekend. After a four hole playoff, Dylan Oyama took the trophy and the TTC Champion headcover. Runner ups include Jonas Appel, Justin Biwer, and Jackson Moss at 2-under. Kathleen Keomahavong played a steady weekend, shooting an even par 72 with 5 birdies for the day to take the win. Jordyn Parr took second by shooting the only under par round for the girls at 2-under. The other runner-ups include Jaycie Stewart, Angela Heo, Nicole Neale, and Anna Davis all at 5-over for the weekend.
