The Toyota Tour Cup motored south to San Diego at the challenging Carlton Oaks Golf Club. This site will test all facets of your game as well as your patience where par will surely keep you in contention.
It was a tight race through the first 18 holes as -3 was the low for both girls (Warner) and boys (Xie) but with a handful of players within striking distance it was anyone’s game. Round two featured tricky hole locations and a steady wind from the west creating an even greater challenge to this great tournament layout. After all cards were in from the girls we still did not have a winner as Therese Warner and Olivia Yun were tied and would be shuttled back to the 18th tee to play off for the cup. Both fought hard but Yun would emerge victorious after one hole. Meg Yoshida would take third just one shot back. The boys came in with three players at even par or better. Third place would go to Alrik Pan at E, 144, Caden Fioroni taking second at -1, 143, and closing out strong was Kento Yamawaki shooting in the red both days to take his first TTC victory.
Congratulations to our newest champions! Also congratulations to Kyle Dougherty for his first Hole-in-One!
