At the conclusion of the second round, Sepersky was two shots behind the leader, Corey Lopez of Mexico, and looking to make a final round push for medalist honors.
Team Southern California got off to a slow start to begin the final round but made a strong effort as they entered the back nine. Once 5 shots behind the tournament leader from Mexico, Sepersky battled back to close the gap to one shot with two holes to play. After failing to convert her birdie attempts on the final two holes, Sepersky finished her round with a one over par (71) and earned 2ndplace honors. Her teammates played some terrific golf in the final round as well and carded the low round of the tournament with an even par (210). Alexa Melton carded the second lowest round of the tournament with a one under (69), and Angelina Kim found her groove to cap off the event with an even par (70). Lauren Gomez also had a very nice bounce back round with a two over par (72). The strong final round helped team Southern California jump into 2ndplace and finish 11 shots behind the victorious team of Mexico.
