CITY OF INDUSTRY, CA – The Toyota Tour Cup made its fifth stop this spring at the Industry Hills Golf Club March 30th and 31st in the City of Industry.
Of the 91 boys on the Zaharias “Babe” Course at Industry Hills GC, only one player remained under par: Robert Keilch of Newport Beach. Keilch shot 67-69 (138, -6) en route to his second-career Toyota Tour Cup victory. Tying for second was GO Nakatsukasa of San Diego, Lincoln Melcher of Burbank, and Raymond Li of Rancho Santa Fe at even par (142).
The Girls Championship on the Eisenhower “Ike” Course saw a similar result with only one player finishing under-par at the end. Catherine Rao (defending back-to-back champion at Industry) was in contention yet again finishing tied for second with Madison Le at even par (144). However, it was Calabassas’ Charissa Shang who would hoist the champions headcover and trophy with her solid play of 68-73 (141, -3). This is her second career title.
Shout-out to Kaila Elsayegh for carding her second ever hole-in-one on the par-3 9th!
Congratulations Robert & Charissa!
