TUSTIN, California | Nestled in the heart of Orange County, Tustin Ranch Golf Club hosted the Toyota Tour Cup for the third straight year. This perfect tournament setup features picturesque views of the 9th & 18th holes that can make or break round.
Round one featured three girls posting rounds of even par or better led by Madison Le firing a -3, 69. Two shots behind her and seeking another win in 2019 is Dianna Lee. The boys had quite a few more players in the red (11) with Will Stribling and Alexander Gibalevich leading the pack with -3, 69’s.
Wednesday’s final round again had just three girls posting rounds under-par. However, first round leader, Madison Le, followed up her opening 69 with a 71 to finish at four-under par for the championship to take the title. Kylee Choi carded a -3, 69 to vault her into solo second, and Dianna Le finished even total for third place. 12 boys found red numbers in the final round, but the recipe to success was to follow up a red number with another. Tied for the overnight lead, Gibalevich, continued his smooth play following up the opening 69 with a -2, 70 to grab his first career victory. Solo second went to Griffin Feldman just one shot back, and Justin Lee took third at one under-par.
Congratulations Alex and Madison!
